On the Court ~ SB4~ Pg 162

I was in volleyball. My coach taught me a lot. A hitter would be the person that makes sure the ball goes over the net. The setter puts the ball in the air after the first hit and sets it up for the next person to hit it over the net. Player rotation goes in a clockwise direction. If you were the server, you are now in the left back corner. If you were in the bottom left corner, you will go to the top left corner and so on. Every time the ball goes down on the other side of the court, if it's not out of bounds your team will get 1 point. If the ball goes out of bound on your side, and it was the other teams fault, then you will get to serve, but you will not get a point. If you knock the ball out of bounds, then it is now the other teams turn to serve the ball. You will rotate after both teams have gotten to serve. A bump, set, spike strategy would be when you bump the ball with your forearms, the setter sets it up for the spike, and the last person to touch the ball (preferably the tallest) spikes the ball over the net as hard as they can hopefully scoring a point for your team. I learned to bump and set the ball. When I got it over the net, it was with a very hard bump. I was not tall enough to spike the ball.
