Creative Cooking ~ SB1 ~ page 54

I looked up the USDA food pyramid online to see their suggestions for how I should eat.
Yesterday, I ate the following:
  • cereal with milk
  • turkey sandwich, chips, apples, Sunny D, and trail mix
  • water
  • pop tarts and trail mix
  • water
  • yogurt
  • steak, mashed potatoes, salad, and tea
The USDA guidelines suggest I eat:
  • 6-11 bread
  • 2-4 fruits
  • 3-5 vegetables
  • 2-3 meats
  • 2-3 milks
Yesterday I ate:
  • 7 breads
  • 3 fruits
  • 3 vegetables
  • 3 meats
  • 3 milks
Yesterday, I ate pretty balanced. This is typical for me on days that I skate. On days that I don't skate, I eat a little less, but still remain within the minimum guidelines.
